Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, she ventured to California after high school to attend the University of California, San Diego, where she earned a degree in Physiology and Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology. She later attended Western University in Pomona, CA, for her medical degree.
Before embarking on her medical career, Dr. Pragit explored various fields, including marketing, programming in radio and TV, and even working as a legal assistant. However, her passion for healthcare led her to a fulfilling career in medicine, where she now focuses on Wellness Medicine. She finds immense joy in helping her patients proactively manage their health through diet, exercise, bio-identical hormone replacement, and peptide therapies, all aimed at transforming lives and promoting lasting wellness. Dr. Pragit practices what she preaches by living an active, healthy lifestyle. She enjoys weight lifting, hiking, and staying connected with her Church community. Though most of her family remains in Chicago, Dr. Pragit shares a special bond with her only sister and niece, who live in San Diego.
