Amanda Gregory, PA-C, is a physician assistant at AFC Physical Medicine & Chiropractic Centers.
Amanda was born and raised in the vibrant city of Phoenix, Arizona. With deep roots in the state as a 3rd generation Arizona Native, Amanda has a strong connection to her community and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Amanda's educational journey began at Northern Arizona University, where she pursued her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology. Eager to expand her knowledge and explore related disciplines, she also pursued minors in Chemistry and Health Coaching, further enhancing her understanding of the human body and the importance of holistic wellness. Throughout her time at NAU, Amanda took every opportunity to immerse herself in the diverse fields of healthcare. This included conducting research in exercise science, which provided insights into the positive impact of physical activity on health outcomes. Additionally, she gained hands-on experience as an aide in a physical therapy clinic, witnessing firsthand the transformative power of rehabilitation and recovery. |
She also volunteered at Flagstaff Medical Center, where she discovered the profound impact that compassionate care can have on patients and their families. Motivated by these experiences, Amanda set her sights on becoming a physician assistant, recognizing the opportunity to play a direct role in patient care and make a lasting difference in their lives. She pursued her master's degree in physician assistant studies at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, graduating in 2019. Since then, Amanda has been practicing rural Emergency Medicine, gaining valuable expertise in acute care and emergency interventions.
Amanda continues to remain committed to her passion for exercise physiology. In her free time, she embraces an active lifestyle, whether it's backpacking through scenic trails, exploring hiking routes, or engaging in other outdoor activities. She also finds joy in traveling, both locally and abroad, alongside her husband and their two beloved dogs.
