Vanessa Olds, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant at AFC Physical Medicine & Chiropractic in Surprise, Arizona, bringing over a decade of experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Born and raised in Phoenix, she completed her premedical studies at Arizona State University before earning her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona.
Vanessa specializes in helping patients restore mobility, reduce discomfort, and achieve a more balanced body. She has worked extensively with individuals whose careers demanded heavy lifting, long hours at a computer, truck driving, or service in physically demanding roles. Her comprehensive approach focuses on the whole body, addressing the root causes of pain and dysfunction to help patients return to the activities they love with greater ease and confidence. Before pursuing medicine in her mid-30s, Vanessa worked in customer service management in the banking industry. Inspired by her fascination with anatomy and medical terminology, and motivated by a desire to make a meaningful difference, she transitioned into healthcare. She continues to be inspired by the body’s remarkable ability to heal and finds purpose in guiding patients toward lasting solutions that improve their quality of life. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, and being with her family. Her 27-year-old son, James, is dedicated to Muay Thai training, and her spirited Yorkie, Remy, keeps her active. After several years in Texas, she returned to Arizona to be closer to her two brothers, nieces, and nephews, cherishing time spent together in Cottonwood and Gilbert. Vanessa feels honored to serve her community, grateful for the opportunity to connect with patients, and dedicated to giving her best to every individual she cares for. |
