Kamryn Hinson, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant with AFC Physical Medicine & Chiropractic Centers - primarily serving at the East Mesa location while also providing care across all other clinics.
Kamryn was born and raised in a small town in Iowa. After high school, she attended Simpson College in Indianola, IA, where she earned a Bachelor's degree, majoring in Biology and minoring in Religion. Kamryn has a diverse range of clinical experience, having completed three rotations in Family Medicine and earning a certificate for surpassing a certain amount of hours in this specialty. She also completed an orthopedic surgery rotation and has experience giving injections and treating patients with chronic illnesses. Kamryn has years of clinical rotation experience in various specialties, including family medicine, orthopedics, internal medicine, pediatrics, general surgery, women's health, behavioral health, emergency medicine, and dermatology. Before becoming a PA, Kamryn worked as a CNA at several nursing homes in both memory care and assisted living facilities. She also spent several summers working at a daycare. Kamryn chose to become a PA to help people live their healthiest lives by focusing on a holistic approach and natural methods. She appreciates the collaborative nature of the profession and enjoys being part of a healthcare team. Kamryn loves being a PA because it allows her to build relationships with patients and make a meaningful impact on their lives by addressing the root causes of their concerns. She also values providing patient education to enhance their knowledge and wellbeing. In her free time, Kamryn enjoys hiking, playing pickleball and volleyball, floating down the river, and spending time with family and friends. Her husband is from Wisconsin and is currently a dental student in Arizona. Her parents and sister live in Iowa and work in education, while her brother lives in Colorado and works in finance. Kamryn also has two little nieces who keep life interesting. Despite being spread out across the country, her family remains close and frequently connects via FaceTime. |
