Allergies

Allergies can manifest in many different ways, sometimes as a skin rash; watery, itchy eyes; a runny nose; a headache, cough, or all of the above. There are many different types of allergies, some of which include drug allergies, food allergies, latex allergies, contact dermatitis, and animal allergies. Depending on the type of allergy a patient has, this bothersome condition may develop during certain seasons (i.e. spring, summer, fall, or winter) or year-round. At AFC Physical Medicine & Chiropractic Centers, our team determines the severity and cause of a patient’s allergies through various skin and blood tests. If the patient does suffer from allergies, he or she may be prescribed certain medications or be administered a holistic nutritional plan to restore health.
