The safety and well-being of our patients and employees remain our highest priority. Since it first surfaced, our teams have been monitoring the situation closely and are taking every precaution to keep our patients, team members, and our communities safe.
With the effects of the outbreak being felt more each day, we wanted to reach out and share what we have been doing so you can continue to receive your treatment at AFC with confidence.
-
Our offices are cleaned daily, and we increased the frequency of cleaning throughout the day with a focus on high traffic areas of the clinic.
-
We're encouraging everyone to take common-sense health precautions recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
-
All patients must apply hand sanitizer when entering the facility.
-
To comply with social distancing standards, we are requiring patient-only attendance. As much as we love kids at AFC, we ask that you leave them home unless they are being treated. We will be closing any child play area and removing all toys.
-
We will be monitoring our office volume and reducing patient volume to stay within the limits recommended for social distancing. Physical therapy equipment may be removed or closed to accommodate spacing in the rehab area.
-
Please wait outside until your appointment. New patients will be asked to be in a closed room to fill out paperwork or they can do it in the car or, preferably, ahead of time.
-
A patient safety liaison will be onsite to monitor spacing and sanitization.
In addition, we are encouraging our patients to be proactive during this time. Here are some tips from our doctors:
-
Continue to get adjusted regularly. Keeping your spine aligned goes hand in hand with keeping your immune system healthy.
-
Consider taking supplements such as Vitamin C, Elderberry, Zinc, and Vitamin D3 to reduce the duration of symptoms.
All of these safeguards and precautions are made with you in mind. They are based on recommendations from local, state, and federal health officials whose experts are working tirelessly to safeguard our health. We will continue to follow guidance from health agencies and government officials to maintain a safe treatment experience for everyone. Thank you for being our patient. We will keep you updated throughout this situation and look forward to continuing to meet your needs.
